Yes. Our beef and lamb are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, meaning they consume no grain, soy, or other feed—and they only eat a variety of grasses and perennial plants we grow, with some hay supplement to support healthy digestion. Our pigs are pasture-raised and fed organic, non-GMO grains, along with grubs and wild forage.

Yes! We ship to all 50 U.S. states. Orders are shipped every Monday or Tuesday directly from our ranch, using overnight or two-day delivery with dry ice to keep everything frozen. Orders must be placed by Sunday night to ship that week. We handle and pack every box ourselves to ensure quality from our ranch to your doorstep. Shipping is free within California. For all other states, we charge a flat $49 fee for any order containing perishable items.

We don’t have a retail store on the ranch, so you can't drop in to purchase meat. However, you can join us for one of our guided ranch tours, held every six weeks—these offer a chance to visit the ranch and learn more about how we raise our animals. Tour info is available atstemplecreek.com/tours. You can also book an overnight stay in one of our four restored farmhouses or cabins—guests have exclusive access to a special meat ordering page for delivery during their stay. We’re proud to be leaders in regenerative agriculture. Our ranch was one of the first in the country to develop a carbon farm plan through the Marin Carbon Project, and we actively implement practices like rotational grazing and compost application to build healthy soil and sequester carbon. Our practices are designed to be better for the planet, better for the animal, and better for you.
