Why is your new minimum order for perishable items $199?

We recently changed our order minimum from $149 to $199. Our minimum order reflects the costs of specialized packaging (boxes, liners, and dry ice) and the 2-day shipping required to ensure your perishable items arrive fresh. By encouraging larger, less frequent orders, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint and minimize packaging waste over time. This approach helps us maintain quality and sustainability while delivering a superior customer experience. 

Direct to Your Door

We ship online orders made before SUNDAY at MIDNIGHT PST every week on Tuesdays. Transit times are 1-2 days. Your order will typically arrive on a Wednesday or Thursday. You'll automatically receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and ready to ship. All meat is shipped frozen and packaged with dry ice to maintain proper temperature control during shipping.

Snacks & Swag (No Order Minimum)

All orders of just shelf-stable items (no-frozen/perishable meat) on the "Snacks & Swag (No Order Minimum)" page ship to all 50 states for $3.99 shipping. These orders are sent by ground or first-class mail via USPS under 10 lbs. Orders over 10 lbs are shipped UPS Ground.

The most economical way to purchase our meat is to purchase a half or whole animal and pick it up locally at Bud's Custom Meats in Penngrove, CA or Willowside Meats in Santa, Rosa, CA. For these items, you will pay us directly for the animal before harvest and then pay the butcher shop for the cut and wrap service.
