But how does it taste?
We work hard to get just the right genetic mix in our breeding stock so our grass fed cattle produce tender, flavorful meat with good marbling. After all, if it doesn’t taste good, it doesn’t matter how healthy it is for you or the environment.
Grass-fed and finished meat is high in vitamin E, beta carotene, vitamin C, and contains more heart healthy “good fats” like omega-3 fatty acids. We believe a grass diet is healthier for the animals themselves. Our animals are raised free range from birth to harvest, and graze on an intense schedule of pasture rotations that promotes the sustainable health of our land and stock. Raising our animals on grass reduces the carbon footprint of our business, since we don’t ship cattle to a feedlot or truck in grain to feed them.
